I am an RN and completed a Masters in Health Administration in Community Care from Toronto
Metropolitan University. I’ve worked in home care and community and am passionate about
continuous improvement data-informed decision-making. I oversee Evaluation & Data, E-
Learning, and New Projects (which includes overseeing curricula for physicians and primary
care, accreditation of curricula, and leading planning for the Your Health Space symposium). I
am motivated by the positive stories that are shared by our trainers or through our survey
responses – it’s incredible to see how far our program has come in such a short time.
I am someone who did not grow up with a familiarity with the language of mental health, nor was
it anywhere on my radar as I pursued a nursing career. I experienced very high levels of anxiety,
moral distress, and stress in my work as a new nurse which led me to seek greater work-life
balance in clinic work. I am continuously thankful that I am able to contribute to a program that
supports psychological health and safety in health care organizations across the province, and
has opened my eyes to how this is applicable to my own life as well.

I am a mother to two amazing boys who make me laugh and challenge me to grow as a human
being. I love carving out time for creative expression and I enjoy gardening, creating art,
cooking, and am often eagerly starting new creative projects.
