I am dedicated to helping health care workers prioritize their own well-being. With over a decade of experience in harm reduction and primary maternity care – two fields where burnout is common – I’ve seen the toll this work can take. I’m committed to building sustainability in health care: staying in the work we love while also feeling well, supported, and resourced.

Through my own experience, I’ve come to understand the self-work required to show up in a caring profession. I’m honoured to support others in this process, which can include cultivating self-awareness, establishing boundaries, developing mindfulness practices, and finding ways to replenish the energy we give to others. I also believe that making sense of our experiences through a systemic lens is critical. Burnout and moral distress are not just personal challenges – they’re deeply tied to the structures we work within. Understanding this can be an empowering and grounding step toward meaningful change.

Outside of work, I find joy in my weekly singing group, fancying myself a weekend farmer with a mini orchard, and seeing the world through the eyes of my ever-curious child.
