I am a Registered Nurse with over 20 years of experience in mental health, working in both inpatient and outpatient settings. I also bring more than 15 years of experience as a trainer in Nonviolent Crisis Intervention, supporting individuals and teams to foster safe, respectful, and compassionate environments.
Through both my professional practice and lived experience, I have come to understand how essential it is to care for our psychological health – particularly for those working in healthcare. I believe that self-care and self-compassion are not luxuries, but necessities. When we learn how to care for ourselves and fill our own cup, we are better able to support others and show up fully in our own lives.
In my work with Your Health Space, I value creating a supportive, non-judgmental space where people feel heard, respected, and empowered. I am passionate about helping individuals build practical strategies to support their mental wellness and resilience.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, traveling, and expressing creativity through watercolour painting. I also love relaxing with our two Golden Retrievers, Lincoln and Maverick.
